Foot Orthoses (FOs)

Foot orthoses support the arches in your child’s feet to improve foot alignment. They may help with comfort, balance and endurance during walking and play.

Overview

At Orthokids, every pair of orthotics is custom-designed for your child. We combine advanced digital technology with careful clinical assessment to ensure each device is accurate, comfortable, and matched to your child’s needs.

How do foot orthoses support my child?

Foot orthoses can support the arches of the feet to improve stability. They can help when ankles roll inward and are a great option for managing symptoms associated with flat feet or other foot posture issues.

How are foot orthotics made?

Our orthoses are custom-made by our expert technical team in our Surrey Hills manufacturing lab.

Using specialised design software, we create a fully customised orthotic based on your child’s foot shape and clinical findings.

This system allows us to:

  • Adjust arch height and support levels
  • Add cushioning or offloading where needed
  • Fine-tune alignment corrections
  • Combine modern digital precision with proven clinical techniques
