We know the cost of healthcare can add up, and funding options can feel confusing. Whether you’re navigating the NDIS, private health insurance, or other supports, our team can help you understand what may be available and guide you through the next steps.
There are several ways our services may be funded, depending on your child’s situation. Many private health insurance funds offer rebates for orthotics, and the NDIS can support orthotic funding for eligible children. If your child isn’t eligible for the NDIS, other government funding options may be available. Orthotic care related to road accidents is often covered through TAC.
Each funding pathway has its own requirements, but you don’t have to work it out alone. Our team is experienced in navigating these systems and can help guide you through the process, including providing the right information and support documentation for your family.
Yes we can. We’re more than happy to assist and can provide the correct documentation to support your needs. Feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
While there aren’t any out-of-pocket expenses for NDIS participants, private health insurance funding can vary depending on your level of cover, so it might be important to check with your insurance provider. We’re here to help with questions about funding and since individual funding situations can vary, it’s often best to call us to discuss your circumstances.
Orthotic care can be funded through your child’s NDIS plan when it supports their functional needs and goals. Our team works closely with families, support coordinators and therapists to help confirm eligibility, prepare clear supporting documentation, and ensure funding requests align with your child’s plan and supports.
Our services are covered by most private health insurers and we can provide you with the documentation you need to support your claim.
It’s important to be aware that Private Health Insurance can be complex to navigate and general advice might not always apply. Reimbursement amounts do vary between insurers and policies, so it’s best to check with your insurer for the most accurate advice.
We always strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child and family. We value your feedback and love to hear how things have gone, whether your experience was positive or if something didn’t meet expectations.
We take all complaints and concerns seriously and have clear processes in place to respond promptly, investigate issues thoroughly, and make improvements where needed. Your feedback helps us learn, grow, and provide better care.

Referrals aren’t necessary for a number of appointments. If you’d like your child assessed for head shape, toe walking or mobility, you can simply book an appointment online or by phone on 03 9836 4480.
Some conditions do need a referral however. For conditions such as hip dysplasia, scoliosis or pectus, or for management of fractures or acute injury, you’ll need a referral from your GP or other medical specialist.
If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us and we can help out.
